Many bands have covered and/or remixed Numan songs. Which is your favorite?
Personally, I'm going with Information Society's "Are 'Friends' Electric?"

Hmm... I'm sensing a pattern here. -

Thu, September 7, 2006 - 1:26 PMto anyone for whom this might be news, for a wide spectrum of Numan covers, i'd like to suggest the tribute album Random, on Beggars Banquet.
and, if at all possible, give the first listen WITHOUT reading track sequence, etc. so many of the artists (including An Pierle and Moloko) make the song so much their own that you can play the home game of Name That Tune... -

Tue, November 14, 2006 - 3:04 PMI'm also very partial to Moloko's "Are 'Friends' Electric?" as well as Saint Etienne's "Stormtrooper in Drag". Not a huge fan of Marilyn Manson but I gotta admit his version of "Down in the Park" was pretty fun too.
