    I picked it up.
It is a heavy record, follows his 'every song pretty much sounds the same' formula.
    well produced and performed.
If you are into the heavy stuff you will like it a lot.

I agree. A friend just got it for me.
And while it is a pretty heavy record( and very well composed/produced), it is still very well done.
and IMO, this cd is a bit more "slowed down" than some of Numan's more recent albums.
yet it still retains the splendid synths/guitars, in typical Numan fashion.
      - but, IMO, nothing will ever compare to his super-stellar years, circa 1978-1981(i.e. Replica, Pleasure Principle, Telekon, and even most of Dance)
and obviously that was over 25 yrs ago -
      - but nevertheless, it's still a great album.

I finally listened to it over the weekend (in preparation for the upcoming SF gig) and while I like it, I was kind of disappointed. The songs on the album have very little to differentiate them. It's one thing for an album of songs to sound the same, but it's another thing to have several albums sound the same. Jagged could've been the second disc of Pure. While I could really connect with most of the songs on Pure and identify with them, nothing on Jagged has really impressed me yet after two listens. I loved "Crazier" (actually one of my favorite Numan tracks) and was hoping that was the next direction for Numan after Pure, but I think he way backtracked with Jagged.
